Port Washington restaurants try to score a touchdown and win the title of “SOUPer BOWL Champ.“ The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce invites you to “buy a spoon“ and sample 2-ounce portions of every soup, then vote for your favorite. Both a “People`s Choice Award“ and a “Judges` Choice Award“ will be presented to the restaurants with the best soup in 2012! Come for a fun time and a tasty lunch to warm you up the day before Super Bowl Sunday. Take the LIE to exit 36, go north on route 101 for about 5 miles to the United Methodist Church.

The Polish American Cultural Assoc. sponsors Friday night dances. Admission is $14 which includes two coupons towards drinks, coffee, bagels and cake. Call 883-5553 for information.
