The Thomas Dodge House, circa 1721, is the oldest house in Port Washington and a living museum administered by the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society. It is open for guided tours from 1 to 5pm on the first Sunday of the month.Admission is $2.50. Located at 58 Harbor Road. Call 516-767-3970 for information.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Sands- Willets House, circa 1735, is the headquarters of the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society. Open for guided tours of its 10 fully furnished rooms on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from May through October. Also included is a tour of the 1600`s Dutch barn. Tours start at 2:15 and 3:15.
